NASHVILLE, TN – Last week was a good week for Miranda Lambert. She began the week celebrating her first Number One single, “White Liar,” and she ended the week, (still celebrating) presenting on the Grammy Awards where she was nominated for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. After the show, Lambert attended a few post-Grammy parties including a stop at the Conga Room where Jamie Foxx was having his soirée.

The two had never met, but when Lambert walked in the room, Foxx grabbed a microphone and rapped a few lines of, “White Liar” and said, “Everybody, Miranda Lambert’s in the house!” Afterwards, they chatted for a bit and Foxx told Lambert that he wanted to write together sometime. A fan of country music, Foxx has performed on the CMA Awards and last year, sang on the George Strait Artist of the Decade All-Star Concert.

Miranda returns to the City of Angeles next month on tour with Brad Paisley and she will also perform “White Liar” on Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson. “White Liar” is from her current album, Revolution. Lambert received rare perfect reviews from countless publications including 4 stars from Rolling Stone and USA Today, an ‘A’ from Entertainment Weekly and exuberant praise from SPIN, NY Times, Washington Post and more. Many claimed Revolution the “Best Album of the Year” in any genre. In 2008, she won the coveted ACM Album of the Year and in 2007, ACM’s Best New Female Award. She is currently touring with Brad Paisley on his “American Saturday Night” Tour.
